Gavin is the COO, UKI and Managing Director of Assembly, the Microsoft team within Edelman business.

Gavin joined Edelman 13 years ago, and in 2016  led the creation of Assembly in the UK, bringing the Edelman UK Microsoft work into one integrated team that operates across Microsoft’s audience spectrum. 

Gavin is a brand expert in consumer technology markets and has specialised in delivering high quality, integrated campaigns for a demanding client base of global consumer and technology brands throughout his career. 

He has deep expertise working at the intersection of brand and reputation and has led award-winning work for several of Edelman’s largest clients, scoring multiple Cannes-Lions.

As COO, his focus is on driving collaboration and innovation across the agency, integrating  and optimising the wide range of capabilities and expertise across Edelman teams.

Melissa oversees the business of client strategy for Edelman London.

She is responsible for supporting a number of the firm’s key global clients (Formula 1, Heineken, PayPal and LEGO), by helping them transform their businesses through smart integrated communication strategies. Prior to this, Melissa was Managing Director of Edelman London’s Brand practice, the firm’s largest practice in Europe, overseeing a diverse portfolio of brands including GSK, Xbox, Heineken, ASICS, Unilever and Arla, fulfilling briefs that spanned both the UK and Global.

She is a brand specialist who believes in building campaigns that are intrinsically linked to a business challenge. Through Thought Leadership programmes such as the Global Pain Index for GSK which is the largest ever barometer into consumer pain and pain management, helping to inform innovation as well as care practices; making moderation sexy for Heineken globally by encouraging people to Dance More, Drink Slow; letting the hair, not just the fashion, speak for TRESemme at New York Fashion Week and transforming Londoners’ commute with a campaign to get them on the move for ASICS.

Suzy is Managing Director of Edelman UK’s brand practice. Suzy joined Edelman in November 2020 bringing over two decades of global integrated comms experience to the Brand division having worked on some of the worlds leading FMCG brands, spanning food and drink, fashion and entertainment. 

From Mars to Disney, Pernod Ricard to P&G, Unilever to M&S, Suzy’s passion for brands comes through with every campaign she leads. Working on a portfolio of clients, Suzy is the Global Client Lead for Heineken, heads up HARIBO in the UK and recently led and won the Bayer pitch to launch a new range of Menopause products in the UK. 

Suzy brings a deep expertise in leading integrated teams and a passion for the power of earned. She inspires her clients and her teams to reach for creative excellence. Suzy has boundless energy, a talent for winning new business, and passion for building earned brands that can be seen in the award-winning work that her teams have delivered. 

For National Grid, she led the team that received a total of 25 wins and shortlists at shows, including Cannes Lions, Eurobest, and the Shorty Impact Awards. Most recently, Heineken - The Social Swap also won a Bronze Lion in Social & Influencer at this year’s Cannes Lions. 

She works tirelessly with leaders across Edelman to collaborate on briefs producing work that is earned first in thinking and delivery.
