LONDON, 19 MAY 2023 - Edelman, the global communications firm, has made a number of senior appointments to its corporate teams in the UK and the EMEA region.
Nick Hope has been appointed Corporate MD, UK. Nick will lead Edelman UK’s 90-person Corporate Affairs team who work across the full-spectrum of corporate communications and reputation management. With more than a decade of experience working at the intersection between business, politics, and culture, he will be responsible for further advancing Edelman’s approach to integrated corporate communications.
Nick Hope joined Edelman in 2018 and was most recently part of the EMEA Regional Executive Committee as Chief of Staff, EMEA. He has also worked across a number of Edelman’s large clients in the region, providing c-suite counsel on strategic communications campaigns and crisis management. Prior to joining the firm, Nick was a Labour Party political advisor and a speechwriter for private clients in entertainment and business.
The firm has also appointed Rosanne Perry, to the newly created role of Head of Operations, Corporate Affairs, EMEA. In this position, Rosanne will work closely with Julian Payne, EMEA Chair Corporate Affairs to seamlessly integrate Edelman’s corporate capabilities in the region working across specialisms like employee engagement, sustainability, and social purpose, and B2B marketing. She will be focused on ensuring that the full scope of Edelman’s corporate capabilities is brought to bear to solve a client’s challenge, regardless of where the opportunity comes from.
In addition, Tim Carlton Jones, who joined Edelman in September and previously held a number of strategic communications roles in the Middle East, has been appointed as Head of International Affairs. In this newly expanded role, Tim will be responsible for the coordination of multi-market client work with a particular focus on the UK, US, and Middle East markets.
